It can be nerve-racking connecting with someone you don’t know and sharing your life story. Thank you for choosing me to provide a safe space, a non-judgmental container to help you untangle your thoughts and feelings, to help you better cope with life challenges.

I grew up in Singapore where it’s a multicultural, multi-lingual society; where each individual is celebrated for their unique being. Being a first generation immigrant to Canada, I understand what it feels like to be caught in between cultures, starting from scratch and navigating through systems. I have over 12 years of experience working with Black, Indigenous, Person of Colour (BIPOC), marginalized and vulnerable communities in Montreal and Edmonton. Throughout my career, I have supported many families, children, at-risk youth and seniors struggling with all kinds of addictions, severe mental health issues, and complex intergenerational trauma. I have spent many years doing front-line, first responders mental health crisis work and mental health first aid. I welcome all parts of you. I am not afraid to hold you at your most vulnerable state and celebrate all the little steps towards becoming comfortable with yourself.

We are connected through our mind, body and soul. Our body remembers pain and suffering that sometimes can be difficult to let go. My work connects the mind and body through movement and creative techniques to help find better coping strategies.

I am also a clinical supervisor, educator, community builder and community theatre practitioner. I have taught at the undergraduate level at the University of Alberta. I  provide workshops and groups for youth, educators, mental health capacity workers, other helping professionals.

I am pleased to offer a 20 minute complimentary phone/virtual consultation to help you decide if I am the right fit for you.
